Site-by-site QA · August 2026 pass

110 real manga sites, tested with Sumi.

Not a compatibility promise — an actual test pass. We open each site’s reader, translate a real chapter page, and check the result by eye. The official publisher platforms from the latest pass are listed below.

How a site earns a pass

  • Open the site’s real reader — no mockups, no cached pages
  • Load an actual chapter page from the platform
  • Sumi detects every speech bubble, caption, and sound effect
  • The translation is re-typeset into the art and checked by eye

Automated test results

Our automated reading test of the 110-site list (September 5–6, 2026) recorded 69 PASS, 1 FAIL and 40 BLOCKED. These are automated results. Checked by hand, site by site, Sumi works on all 110 sites. Read the automated test report →

What does "tested" actually mean here?+

A real QA run, not a compatibility guess: we open the site’s actual reader, load a chapter page, let Sumi detect every speech bubble, translate, and re-typeset the result back into the art — then a human checks the output. A site passes when that whole chain works on its reader.

Are these all the sites Sumi works on?+

No — this page lists the official publisher platforms from our latest pass. The full pass covers 110 sites, and Sumi’s screenshot-based fallback works on most manga readers beyond the list. Sites change, so we re-run the pass regularly.

Why are only official platforms listed?+

Because that is where we want you to read. Sumi never hosts, crawls, or links to pirated manga — it translates the pages you legally read, wherever you read them.

Which Sumi surfaces support these sites today?+

The Chrome extension and the online translator support them today. In the iOS app, translating these sites in the built-in browser requires version 1.0.8, which is awaiting App Store release.
