How Sumi uses cookies on this website

Last updated: August 28, 2026
This page covers cookies on mangasumi.com (the website). It does
not apply to the Sumi iOS app, which is covered by the
privacy policy.
What this site uses
mangasumi.com sets only the cookies or local preferences needed for the
features a visitor chooses to use:
- Account session cookies after you sign in.
- Language and interface preferences when you choose them.
- Anonymous translation allowance state when you use the online translator without signing in.
- Microsoft Clarity analytics cookies, but only after a visitor who is 18 or older selects Allow analytics in our privacy notice.
Clarity helps us find confusing layouts, dead clicks, and excessive scrolling on our own website. It is not loaded before consent. If consent is declined, no Clarity script or cookie is used. Inputs are always masked, and account, admin, authentication, settings, and online-translation areas receive an additional full-content mask.
Clarity code is served only by pages we operate on mangasumi.com. It cannot
observe third-party manga sites opened through the Sumi iOS app, Safari
extension, Chrome extension, or Firefox extension.
We also use a cookieless PostHog configuration for aggregate product events. It stores no analytics cookie, disables automatic interaction capture and session recording, and honors browser Do-Not-Track and Global Privacy Control signals.
We do not:
- run third-party advertising trackers,
- run social-media tracking pixels (Facebook, X, TikTok, etc.),
- sell any data about visitors.
Change or withdraw your choice
Use Privacy choices in the website footer at any time. Withdrawing consent instructs Clarity to clear its cookies and stop consented analytics. Browser Do-Not-Track and Global Privacy Control signals also keep Clarity disabled.
